Bloog has recently gotten a lot of hype on forums so I was eager to see if it was really as awesome as everyone claimed. In the past month, I’ve tried two different Bloog kits a whole assortment of their e-liquids. To put it simply, this is a killer brand. They really have stronger vapor, stronger throat hits, and stronger flavors than most other brands I’ve tried. While they aren’t really going to be the best pick for a brand new e-cig user, the Bloog products are perfect for someone that wants more from their e-cigarette.
The first kit I tried was the Deluxe SK Kit. It is basically like any other starter kit with 2 batteries, a USB charger, wall adapter, and 5 cartomizers. It also includes two little velvet pouches to carry your batteries. The kit is put together nicely and the Bloog logo is on everything. I chose a silver battery and it looked really sleek with the black cartridges and blue tip.
When I tried this ecig for the first time, I was actually shocked by how strong the throat hit was. I was using 36mg cartomizers, which always gives you a little more power, but it was still really extreme. Plus, the clouds of vapor were massive. It was much more than a typical standard e-cigarette. I definitely liked the Deluxe SK Kit and it would be a good choice if you’ve been vaping Green Smoke or V2 and you just want something a little more heavy duty.
The second kit I tried was the Bloog 650 Kit. This is their ego model with refillable clearomizers. The kit comes with 1 battery, 2 cartomizers, and bottle of e-liquid. This unit is nicely designed and overall, I thought I twas attractive. The caeromizers hold 1.6ml of liquid and they are made with the long wick that goes down both sides. Like most ego systems, the 650 has a safety feature where you can lock it when not in use.
The most unique feature of this ego is the five little holes in the bottom of the battery. They light up to indicate when you lock or unlock the e-cig. But these holes also look like they would serve as a ventilation spot to keep the battery from getting too hot. With all the news about e-cig batteries exploding, I really appreciated those five tiny holes. That instantly boosted Bloog even higher in my mind.
Now let’s talk about performance. The 650 was above and beyond anything I expected. On that first drag, I got about three times as much vapor as you would get from a puff on a cigarette. I’m talking huge rolling clouds of vapor and throat hit galore. If you want your vaping experience to feel a little more extreme, you will love this model. The clearomizers were not complicated to fill and they do not leak.
Maybe the best part of Bloog is their extensive line of e-liquids. I had heard a lot of people talking about the Bloog liquids and after trying them, I can see why everyone loves them. I am definitely a fan! I tried several different kinds and they all performed well. I really enjoyed the 55 liquid. It had a good tobacco flavor that was slightly mellow, but it had a massive throat hit. My second favorite was probably the Bogart’s Blend. It was a sweeter tobacco flavor, but it still had great throat hit and tons of vapor. While I was never a huge fan of Red cigarettes, the Bloog Red liquid is pretty dead on in terms of flavor. If you like Reds, this liquid will probably be as close as you are going to get in an e-cigarette! Last of all, I tried the coffee liquid and it was just like sipping a hot cup of joe. I think this one is great for early mornings when I need a wake up call!
Overall, Bloog is a really solid brand. Both of the kits performed well and had a sleek, impressive design. I didn’t really have any complaints with either kit and the e-liquids really blew me away. So if you are already an experienced e-cig user and you want something different than just a standard starter kit, you might want to take a look at Bloog. I think you will be really happy that you did!
