Cigavette Electronic Cigarettes go by the motto, “It’s NOT a cigarette… It’s a CIGAVETTE!” While that statement is very true, I will look at how Cigavette stacks up against other e-cigs rather than traditional cigarettes. As always, it is our position that e-cigarettes are a better alternative to analog cigarettes.
The thing that makes Cigavette stand out from other brands is the fact that they push their lower priced kit much harder than the higher priced ones. The kit they sent us for review was the Super Premiere Electronic Cigarette that boasts 24MG cartomizers and a price point under $30. You can get these kits all the way down to 0MG of nicotine if you want to step down your nicotine consumption in levels.
So what do you get for less than $30 is your first question I’m sure. Well, you get 2 cartridges that are the equivalent of approximately 75 cigarettes, 1 battery, and a USB charger. At times (LIKE RIGHT NOW!) they run a special that includes an extra 5-Pack of cartomizers, with an additional 175 cigarette equivalent. So at $7 a pack for your regular cigarettes, you would be paying $87.50 for the equivalent of the amount of cigarettes that Cigavette can replace. You can save over $57.00 right off the bat using this e-cig kit. That’s a pretty good incentive to buy Cigavette right there.
Review continues after kit comparison table...
Aside from price, what really matters to our readers is how well does the e-cigarette starter kit from Cigavette perform? I’m here to tell you that it isn’t the best e-cigarette I have ever used, but it is one of the best in the price category. The throat hit took me by a bit of surprise as I took larger pulls while vaping this e-cig than usual right off the bat. I ended up coughing a little bit! So this e-cig packs a punch. The vapor produced from this kit was actually comparable to V2 Cigs (Read more about them here).
We tried the Super, Full Flavor, Menthol, and Light flavors all and here’s what we found. The Super is great for heavy, Marlboro Red type smokers. It is 24MG and as mentioned above, brings a huge throat hit. For the not so heavy Camel or the heavy lights smoker, the Full Flavor from Cigavette is probably your best option. It comes in 18MG and has a very respectable throat hit as well, just scaled back a little bit. The Light is great for the everyday smoker of lights who doesn’t exceed a pack a day. It has 12MG of nicotine and a more reserved throat hit while still producing good amounts of vapor. The Menthol fell a little short of our desired flavor, but that is nothing new to us. Most menthol flavors come off more minty than a menthol cigarette taste. This one came in 18MG and was easier on the throat than the Full Flavor, but still gives you that nicotine punch you are looking for.
You can find full-fledged starter kits with Cigavette, but as we mentioned before, they really push these Premiere kits instead. We didn’t receive the other starter kits for review, so we will hold our comments on that for now. If you have tried them, we encourage you to leave your own mini review below. In the end, we are quite impressed with the value price of a good e-cigarette that Cigavette provides. The kits don’t include everything, but you can order all the extra parts like wall chargers and car chargers separately on their website. So we do recommend this unit if it sounds like something you want to give a try!
