SmokeTip has recently experienced a lot of positive feedback from vapers. I just ordered a bunch of their new flavor cartridges and I was really excited to check them out. Even though SmokeTip only offers one starter kit, they have a ton of cartridge options to keep you from being bored. There are 21 flavors and four nicotine strengths to choose from.
The current SmokeTip cartridge flavors include: Regular, Menthol, Cowboy (Marlboro), Mild Menthol, Vanilla, Coffee, Almond, Apple, Banana, Blueberry, Cherry, Chocolate, Cinnamon, Clove, Grape, Orange, Peach, Peppermint, Pineapple, Strawberry, and Watermelon.
SmokeTip cartridges last as long as about 25 cigarettes so if you break down the cost, it’s equivalent to $1.60 per pack. If you are tired of shelling out money on cigarettes, this brand is going to give you instant savings. Plus, they have a sliding price scale depending on how many cartridges you order. They come in packs of 10, but you can save money by order more packs. They start out at $19.95 per pack and for each additional pack you buy, you save $1. So 2 packs cost $18.95 each, 3 packs cost $17.95 each, 4 packs cost $16.95 each, and 5 or more packs will cost $15.95 each.
You also get some free items if you buy in bulk. When you order three packs of cartridges, SmokeTip throws in a free battery. Order five packs, and you get that battery plus a wall adapter and USB charger. The best deal is when you order ten packs… you get a free starter kit. Pretty awesome, right?
All together, I tried 13 different SmokeTip flavors. I have ranked them here in 3 categories: Loved It, Liked It, and Not a Fan. Hopefully this will give you some good ideas of which flavors you should order!
Cowboy – SmokeTip’s Cowboy cartridge is similar to a Marlboro cigarette. This was by far the best cartridge I tried from their line up. It had huge amounts of vapor like a Green Smoke and it left that nice tobacco aftertaste in my mouth when I was done vaping.
Menthol – To be honest, there are very few e-cig brands that nail the menthol flavor. Most of them are too similar to peppermint. SmokeTip came pretty close and their menthol had a really great throat hit and lots of vapor. I loved it!
Strawberry – If you close your eyes and just taste the vapor from this cartridge, you think you are eating a real strawberry. It’s that close. I really enjoyed this flavor!
Grape – SmokeTip’s grape cartridge was my favorite fruit flavor. It reminded me of a grape soda. It had a really strong throat hit and lots of vapor, which is really rare for a fruit flavor. I highly recommend this one!
Cinnamon – The Cinnamon flavor surprised me because I was expecting it to be spicy and it was actually really well balanced. It reminded me of an apple cinnamon flavor like cider. It was my second favorite SmokeTip cartridge, next to the Cowboy.
Regular – If you like Camel cigarettes, you will like this flavor. It had slightly less vapor production than the Cowboy flavor and since I am a former Marlboro smoker, I ranked Cowboy as the better option.
Apple – The apple cartridge tasted a lot like a green jolly rancher. The throat hit was mild and it didn’t have quite as much vapor as some of the other SmokeTip cartridges I tried, but I still enjoyed it and would use it again.
Peach – This flavor reminded me of those old Peach Rings candies I ate as a kid. It was less like eating a fruit and more like eating candy. It had nice vapor production and overall, it’s a good option.
Watermelon – The watermelon flavor tastes like candy. I really liked the smooth draw on this cartridge and the throat hit was really slight so I think it would be perfect for after dinner or with a cocktail.
Pineapple – This one is more like eating pineapple than sipping a pina colada, which I liked. Of all the pineapple cartridges I have tasted, this one is probably the best in terms of vapor production and overall flavor.
Not a Fan
Cherry – I didn’t really like the cherry cartridges from SmokeTip. They tasted a little like lip balm instead of cherry candy.
Orange – This one was my least favorite. It really just had a strange taste to it and the flavor was so understated that it took me a minute to really even register what it was.
Banana – I was a little weirded out by the banana cartridge to start with, so this might not be an entirely fair review of it. I don’t like bananas that much, but it didn’t even taste like a banana. It was more like a banana flavored candy like you get in a pack of Runts. It had a chemical aftertaste too and I just didn’t enjoy it.
