One of the things that I most like about the cartridges that the South Beach Smokes use is the price. I am spending a fraction of the price that I used to spend on a pack of cigarette. I am constantly coming up with new and entertaining ways to spend all my extra cash.
Another thing I’ve noticed about the South Beach cartridges is that they don’t get warm to the touch. The cartridge has been designed in such a way that it stays cool even during heavy use. Not only does this mean that I can hold onto the cartridge while puffing, but I don’t have to worry about it setting bits of paper and Kleenex on fire if they come into contact with the cartridge.
Even though I like the action of the South Beach Smoke cartridge and I feel that it delivers a very satisfying cloud of vapor and that it provides a good solid throat hit, I do wish that the company would have elected to go with the two piece style instead of the three piece design. Refilling the cartridges can be a pain, especially when I’m in a hurry.
I also noticed that South Beach Smoke’s cartridges flavors never changed during use. I’ve tried other brands of electronic cigarettes and as the vapor juice starts to get low, the vapor develops a metallic taste. In some cases the flavor gets so bad that I can’t even empty the cartridge. This has never happened when I’ve been using the South Beach cartridge. The flavor never changes from the first puff to the last.
Recently, South Beach Smoke began filling their cartridges with 100% US-made liquids. This proactive step, not only increases the taste and quality of the vapor, but also helps ensure that correct ingredients are used. We applaud South Beach for taking this step.
