VaporIn has recently re-vamped their website and have released a bunch of new high-tech e-cigs to appeal to a wide variety of vapers. They now have 14 different kits to choose from. Many of them are tank-style e-cigarettes, which are geared towards somewhat more advanced users. The tanks are super-high quality, and paired with their batteries, they give off some great vapor payoff. These e-cigs are perfect for those who prefer devices that use e-liquid. For vapers who prefer using cartridges instead, VaporIn offers 3 different starter kits that have the cig-a-like design. They’ve also released a bunch of amazing new cartridge flavors, allowing you to choose from 22 different types of cartridges. They also offer a variable temperature vaporizer, the Freedom Vape Handheld Personal Vaporizer, that works perfectly to vaporize your favorite dry herbs with no combustion.
I recently tried out the Pro Glass Air Starter Kit, and was extremely impressed. It has a huge tank on it that allows you fill it with so much e-liquid, you won’t have to worry about re-filling it everyday. It has a ring on the cartomizer piece that allows you to customize the airflow to get the device exactly how you like it. It also features a variable voltage battery that ranges from 3.3 volts to 4.8 volts. The battery life on this device is super long-lasting, and really holds a charge well. I chose to pair the Pro Glass Air with Vaporin’s Blueberry e-liquid. I personally find their e-liquids to be spot-on with their flavors. If you aren’t a blueberry fanatic like I am, they also offer 8 other flavors to choose from: Grape, Cherry, Watermelon, Menthol, Vanilla, Cucumber Mint, Apple, and Original Tobacco. They also come in 4 different strengths.
The second starter kit I tried from VaporIn is the Express Plus Starter Kit. This one is also a tank-style e-cig. with lines marked on the tank to show you just how many milliliters of e-liquid are left in the device. I liked this starter kit because it was easy to use, and even easier to re-fill. It gives off a generous amount of vapor, and the battery holds a good charge. It’s a simple starter kit that gives you everything you need for a very low price. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to try out a tank-stye e-cig.
Original Review Below:
After hearing some friends talk about Vaporin ecigs, I decided to check them out and see how they compared to the other brands I’ve reviewed for CocktailNerd. Vaporin has a lot of options to choose from with 7 starter kits, 5 nicotine strengths, 11 flavors, and their own line of e-liquids. I tried the “On the Go” kit, which you can buy online for $19.99. It comes with one battery, 2 cartomizers, and a USB charger. This is a really affordable starter kit, but keep in mind that you will probably want to buy a few accessories to make it more convenient if you decide to use this brand long-term. I would definitely suggest a wall charger and another battery at a minimum.
Because this is their lowest priced kit, it only comes in tobacco or menthol flavors. The nicotine strength is high for both kits, so if you want other nicotine levels or flavors, you will have to buy additional cartridges separately. It comes in a small flip-top box, kind of like a pack of cigarettes, but a little larger. The battery is white and the cartridge is tan so it looks similar to a cigarette. When you are vaping, the tip turns green, which is a neat feature. I’ve seen endless blue tips and a few yellow, red, or even white tips. But this was the first time I’ve seen one that lights up green.
When I tried out my Vaporin kit, I was really happy with the overall product. For such a small, lightweight ecig, it had really good vapor production that ranks similar to what you get with South Beach Smoke. The throat hit was perfect for me: not too strong, but not too weak either. It was just a good balance of vapor, throat hit, and tobacco flavor.
Review continues after kit comparison table...
Even though the On the Go kit only comes with tobacco or menthol cartridges, you do have the option to branch out and try some of the other flavors that Vaporin offers. You can pick from tobacco, classic tobacco, menthol, cherry, vanilla, chocolate, apple, strawberry, peach, pina colada, and coffee. They also offer 5 nicotine strengths. So your real customization comes with ordering refill cartridges and your starter kit is really just a first step to let you test the waters and see if you like their e-cigs in the first place.
Ultimately, I think Vaporin offers a really good e-cig that will appeal to a lot of people. I won’t be surprised at all if it starts to creep up in ratings over the next few weeks or months as more people discover their new kits and cartridge flavor options.
